Not the same as Advanced Diver Development
This course allows you to try something new. It's a chance to experience the Adventure that awaits you beyond open water certification. At the same time you will gain experience and confidence while accompanied by our professional staff of dedicated divers. Course graduates will emerge more comfortable and confident. It can be done in just one weekend or over several, making it Time Flexible.
You’ve taken your open water scuba diver course and now your ready to expand your knowledge but you would like to see what is out there first. The Advanced Adventure Diver course will give you an overview of five (5) selected SDI specialties. Two core specialties will be Deep Diver and Navigations Diver, which are the foundation of continuing diver education.
Cost: $199.00
This course is intended to introduce you to each of the five (5) specialties and not complete comprehension of the chosen specialty.
You may select three other adventures from the following specialties to be included at no additional cost.
Course requirements
- Basic OW SCUBA equipment (rentals available)
- Advanced Adventure Manual
- Personal Dive Computer
- Compass
- Knife or cutting device
- Reel
- Lights: primary and back up (for night dives)
- Signaling devices: Audible (whistle) and visual (emergency sausage/mirror)
- Thermal Protection: Suit-Hood-Gloves
(equipment requirements may vary with each specialty course)
The Advanced Adventure Diver Certification class includes:
- Instruction
- Five Dives
- Classroom sessions
- Certification Card and processing fees.
Books, Equipment, Lake/Quarry, Boat and Lodging fees are not included in the price.
