Air is fed from the cylinder via a regulator and hose to a manifold at the top of the rucksack, from where the breathing regulator, alternate air source and the power inflator hoses emanate. All vital components being protected internally.

Buoyancy is controlled by an EN 1809 rated internal air cell, with a 40lb lift capacity and the depth and air pressure is measured by use of a twin gauge.

The Mini-B was tested by SGS who gave the product its CE 1809 certificate. SGS certifies that products, systems or services meet the requirements of standards set by governments (e.g. GOST R), standardization bodies (e.g.ISO 9000) or by SGS customers. SGS also develops and certifies its own standards.
